Truffles have a short life and are expensive. This pesto is made from black truffles and mushrooms and has a great 'truffley' flavor which does not dissapate and lasts quite a few months in the fridge. A great substitute for fresh truffles and much more long lasting and flavorful than truffle oil. A great value.
